U.S. Soccer Development Academy

The US Soccer Development Academy presence in South Texas will begin this fall with Academy teams in Houston, Austin, and San Antonio. Along with player development, the goals of the academy as stated in the US Soccer presentation include to

• Target the top up- and-coming officials for Development Academy matches
• Provide assessments for these officials in higher level matches
• Provide teams with higher quality officials.

An orientation meeting by Dick Triche of the National office will be held Monday, July 28 in Austin for the Austin/San Antonio area, and Tuesday, July 29 in the Houston area. These will be evening sessions, with time/location to be announced below. Information regarding game schedules and assigning process will be available at these sessions. You must attend if you wish to be considered for game assignments.
